How Solla Uses Google User Data

Last updated: 2025

This page explains how Solla uses data obtained through your Google Business Profile connection. Solla is currently under development. The functionality described here will be activated when Google approves API access and the service is launched.

1. What data Solla accesses from Google

When you connect your Google account to Solla using Google’s OAuth flow, Solla may receive the following information:

  • Your Google Business Profile locations
  • Permission to publish posts on your behalf
  • Permission to read and reply to reviews
  • OAuth tokens (access token, refresh token, expiration time)

Solla does not access personal data about your customers and does not retrieve any user-identifiable information from Google reviews beyond what is necessary to create replies.

2. How the data is used

Solla uses your Google Business Profile data only for the following purposes:

  • To publish posts you create inside Solla
  • To generate and send replies to reviews
  • To determine which business location you are managing
  • To allow scheduled posts to be published at the correct time

Solla does not use your Google data for analytics, advertising, resale, or any purpose unrelated to providing the service.

3. How Solla stores Google user data

Solla stores OAuth tokens securely in encrypted form. Tokens are used only on the server-side to authenticate calls to the Google Business Profile API.

  • Tokens are never stored in the browser
  • Tokens are never shared with third parties
  • Tokens are deleted when you disconnect Solla from your Google account

4. How long the data is retained

Solla retains Google-related data only for as long as it is needed to provide the service:

  • OAuth tokens are stored only while your Google connection is active
  • Posts and review replies you generate are kept until you delete them
  • Temporary media used for scheduled posts is deleted after publication
  • Images saved voluntarily to your library remain until you remove them

5. No sharing of Google user data

Solla does not share your Google Business Profile data with any third-party services except for:

  • Google, when performing actions you explicitly request
  • Technical infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting or storage), which process data strictly on Solla’s behalf

Solla never sells Google data or uses it for marketing purposes.

6. Your control and revocation rights

You may disconnect Solla from your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page. Once disconnected, Solla can no longer access your data and related tokens will be deleted.
